The lab- <br /> oratory soil samples did not have head space and were immediately sealed in <br /> their liners using aluminum foil lined plastic caps that were tap(,d in place. The <br /> samples were then transferred to an ice chest containing blue ice knd transported <br /> immediately to GeoAnalytical Laboratories, a California State certified <br /> laberatory, under Chain of Custody. <br /> The soil samples were analyzed using EPA method 8015 modified for total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons in the diesel range and EPA mf.thod 8029 for Benzene, <br /> Toluene, Xylene, and Ethyl Benzene. <br /> w 3.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMAIENDATION�S <br /> _._..__ _...----------- ----Soil samples_taken-under-the concrete fuel oil tank at Escalon Packers have disclosed <br /> oil and oil constituents in the soil at a depth of approxnlately four feet {4'}.
