Hatch Road <br /> Pfodesto, CA <br /> r : <br /> Dear'ferry: <br /> On August 9, 1991, McCain Environmental Services, under the presence of <br /> Mike Kloberdanz, WHF Environmental, I fill Tiffin, SE1v1CO3 and wader the direction <br /> of Carol Oz, Sap.Joaquin County Environmental Health Specialist, samples were taken <br /> at Escalon Packers, McHenry Avenue, Fscalon, California. <br /> We arrived at 12 PM. Mark:Haynes, Milt Tiffin and Dave McCain, using <br /> eter mining safe LEL levels and oxy-2n. entered <br /> proper 1 ezlth and safety gear, after d <br /> an abandoned concrete bunker fuet tank. Please see site map for location. <br /> prior discussion with Carol Oz, concluded with permission being granted by <br /> Carol Oz to pre-drill the sample location to a depth of three feet, six inches (T 6"). <br /> The sample was then to be taken in undisturbed soil with a clean brass cylinder at a <br /> depth of minus four feet (-4'). <br /> Carol Oz arrived at 1 pM, suited up, entered the tank, inspected the depth of <br /> the holes and left the confined space. <br /> It was agreed to proceed with sampling, but due to the presence of hard pan, a <br /> cylinder could not be driven. Permis-'i was asked for and given by the San Joaquin <br /> County representative to use the auger bucket to gather so:l and drive a clean cylinder <br /> into this dirt. T'jiis was dune at all three sample locations. (The fourth sample beneath <br /> the pipeline was driven.) _ _ _ <br />
