April 14, 1993 • Project No. EK-6032-2 <br /> �7 <br /> TAILGATE MEETING <br /> All field personnel from ESE and the subcontractors must attend a safety orientation meeting before <br /> commencing the field work. The meeting will be scheduled and conducted by the Site Safety <br /> Officer and is to include an overview of the site history, the potentially hazardous compounds, <br /> their potential mode of ingress into the body, protective equipment requirements, and emergency <br /> response equipment. All individuals who do not have respirators and who may be required to <br /> wear them, will not be allowed on the site until they are provided with and fit tested for respirators <br /> by their respective employers. <br /> A tailgate meeting will be held every morning before the start of work and is to be attended by all <br /> personnel on-site. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the days work, potential hazards, and <br /> specific health and safety procedures to be utilized during the day. The minutes of the meeting will <br /> be prepared by the Site Safety Officer. <br /> VISITOR CLEARANCE <br /> Visitors to the site must inform the Site Safety Officer or the Project Manager upon their arrival on <br /> the site and must be informed of the contents of this report and fully equipped before entry is <br /> permitted. Visitors will be required to be escorted in the exclusion zone and must comply with <br /> escort directions at all times. Non-compliance with escort directions will not be tolerated, and <br /> violators will be required to leave the restricted access zones immediately. <br /> 12 <br />
