The CAP proposes installing seventeen ozone sparge <br /> wells in seven rows with injection points installed at alternating depths, with the first row at <br /> 40' below ground surface (bgs) and the next row at 50' bgs. The CAP does not include the <br /> ' hollow stem auger diameter for the borings or a schedule for installing the wells. The existing <br /> treatment system compound will be reused for a new system controller/ozone generator that will <br /> be connected through piping running underground to the ozone sparge wells. The CAP <br /> ' included plans and specifications for the ozone injection treatment system, and a monitoring <br /> program to evaluate the progress of the remediation. <br /> ' The CAP is conditionally approved pending resolution of the following well permit requirement <br /> and submittal of the ozone injection permit application (Notice of Intent) to me. Please note that the San Joaquin County Well Regulations must be followed <br /> when installing new wells; and that the diameter of the hollow stem auger needs to be approved <br /> by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD). Obtain the required <br /> ' SJCEHD well permits, and submit to me by email a schedule with dates for the wells installation <br /> by 17 December 2009: Also, submit in writing.to me, the completed Notice of Intent for <br /> R5-2008-0149, and a detailed proposed schedule for treatment system installation and startup <br /> tby 31 December 2009. .
