McKinley Ave. PR#: 0525999
Manteca, CA 95336 APN: 241-260-02
The above subject site was placed in the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department (EHD) Corrective Action Program (CAP) after confirmation that the removal
of the former farm underground storage tanks (UST) that were located at this subject site
had released some of their contents to the subsurface.
After a complete investigation was conducted and groundwater samples confirmed that
the release did not impact the shallow groundwater, the EHD concurred with your
recommendation that no further action related to the release was required.
With the removal of the three monitoring wells from the site on March 2, 2010, the EHD
is able to complete the farm UST investigation process.
Based on information in the above-referenced file and with the provision that the
information provided to this agency was accurate and representative of site conditions,
no further action/investigation related to the two farm USTs is required.
Please be advised that this letter does not relieve you of any liability for pollution not
discovered during this investigation. Nor does it relieve you of the responsibility to clean
up existing, additional or previously unidentified conditions at the site from past, present
or future operations which cause or threaten to cause pollution or nuisance or otherwise
pose a threat to water quality or public health.
Please contact Michael Infurna, Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist, at
468-3454 if you have any questions regarding this matter.
Adrienne Ellsaesser, REHS
Acting Program Coordinator
c: Mr. David Guthridge, Light, Air& Space Construction, 1707 Little Orchard St.,
Suite A, San Jose, CA 95125
