Krazan & Associates, Inc. <br /> (Krazan) employees and field personnel will abide by this plan. It is intended that all project work will <br /> comply with applicable codes and regulations of the United States Occupational Safety and Health <br /> Administration(OSHA).Each field team member working on this project will have the general responsibility <br /> to identify and correct any health and safety hazards and strive to make the workplace safe. <br /> 1.1 Protect Description <br /> Krazan conducted a Phase I ESA dated April 13,2017 of the subject site in conformance with the scope and <br /> limitations of the ASTM E 1527-13 Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I <br /> Environmental Site Assessment Process guidance documents. Krazan identified evidence of recognized <br /> environmental conditions (RECs) in conjunction with the subject site as defined by ASTM E 1527-13. <br /> Additionally, the following potential areas of concern (PAOCs) and potential housekeeping issues were <br /> identified in connection with the subject site. <br /> RECs <br /> On-Site Fueling System/USTs/Dispensers <br /> According to records on file with the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD),four <br /> USTs are currently located on the subject site in a truck repair and fueling area,including two 20,000-gallon <br /> diesel USTs, a 550-gallon new oil UST and a 550-gallon waste oil UST, all equipped with monitoring <br /> systems.Two dispensers,one for each of the diesel USTs,are located on a nearby fueling island.Review of <br /> records indicates that the four USTs were installed in 1991,are of double-walled fiberglass construction and <br /> utilize double-walled subsurface piping.The two diesel USTs have overspill secondary containment features, <br /> vapor recovery and line-leak detection systems.
