Additional Site Assessment Work Plan <br /> Shockey and Sons Trucking <br /> 854 Milgeo Avenue,Ripon, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr. Walter Shockey,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE)has prepared the <br /> enclosed Additional Site Assessment Work Plan for the property at 850 Milgeo Avenue, Ripon, <br /> California(the site).The proposed work includes 1)advance four off-site pilot borings to collect soil <br /> samples and install ground water monitoring wells and advance four(three off-site) soil borings to <br /> collect soil and grab ground water samples to further define the lateral and vertical extent of <br /> petroleum-impacted soil and ground water; and 2) properly destroyed badly damaged monitoring <br /> well MW-5. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1. A plan of the site is illustrated on <br /> Figure 2.Site background information including historical analytical soil and ground water sampling <br /> results are included as Appendix A. <br /> This work plan was prepared in accordance with Appendix A to Tri-Regional Recommendations - <br /> Reporting, dated 16 April 2004, prepared by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites. <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The scope of the work includes 1)advancement of four off-site pilot borings to collect soil samples <br /> and install ground water monitoring wells; 2) advancement of four (three offsite) soil borings to <br /> collect soil and grab ground water samples, and 3) properly destruction of badly damaged <br /> monitoring well MW-5. The scope of work will consist of the following tasks: <br /> • Permitting and pre-field work activities; <br /> • Advancement of four pilot soil borings and soil sampling; <br /> • Ground water monitoring well installation, well development and well survey; <br /> • Advancement of three soil borings for the collection of soil and grab ground water samples; <br /> • Proper destruction of well MW-5; and <br /> • Preparation of a report. <br /> 2.1. PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES <br /> Prior to the commencement of work, permits (boring and encroachment) and applicable access <br /> agreements will be obtained from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(ERD), <br /> the City of Ripon, California Department of Transportation (CALTRANS) and private property <br /> Advanced GeoEnvi ron mental,Inc. <br />
