' Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2005 <br /> SHOCKEY AND SONS TRUCKING <br /> 850 Milgeo Avenue, Ripon, California <br /> ' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr. Lee Shockey, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this <br /> ' quarterly report for 850 Milgeo Avenue, Ripon, California (site). The scope of work included <br /> quarterly monitoring of four of the five accessible ground water monitoring wells and free product <br /> remediation. The location;of the site and'its surroundings are depicted in Figure I. Monitoring and <br /> ozone sparge wells, probe.boring locations and structures on the site are shown in Figure 2.. <br /> This report has been prepared in accordance with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality-Control <br /> Board(CVRWQCB)guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST)sites. Site <br /> history and findings from previous investigations and previous monitoring events at the site are <br /> I summarize&in Appendix A.Quarterly ground water monitoring data from April 1996 to the present <br /> is summarized in Tables 1 and 2 of this report. <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> ,. On 13 May 2005; AGE conducted quarterly ground water monitoring of monitoring wells MW-1 <br /> through,MW-4; monitoring well MW-5 was not accessible. All field work was performed in <br /> accordance with guidelines developed by the CVRWQCB for the investigation ofUST sites.Ground <br /> ' water monitoring activities conformed to guidelines issued by the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department(EHD). <br /> 2.1. FREE PRODUCT REMEDIATION <br /> ' On 13 May 2005, free product odor and slight visual sheen was noted:in monitoring well MW-4'. <br /> The product was recovered using a disposable bailer.After free product removal,the water and free <br /> product were stored on-site in 55-gallon Department of Transportation(DOT)H-17 storage drums. <br /> The removal'was performed in accordance with California Underground Storage Tank Regulations; <br /> Article 5, Section 2655. <br /> 2.2. QUARTERLY GROUND WATER MONITORING <br /> ' AGE conducted quarterly groundwater monitoring on 13 May 2005. <br /> 1 . <br /> iAdvanced GeoEnvironmente'k Inc: <br />
