1 <br /> Quarterly Report - First Quarter 2003 <br /> ' SHOCKEY AND SONS TRUCKING <br /> 850 Milgeo Avenue, Ripon, California <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> tAt the request of Mr Lee Shockey, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for 850 Milgeo Avenue, Ripon, California (site) The scope of work included the <br /> monitoring of five ground water monitoring wells The location of the site and its surroundings are <br /> ' depicted in Figure 1 Monitoring and ozone sparge wells, probe boring locations and structures on <br /> the site are shown in Figure 2 <br /> ' This report has been prepared in accordance with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board(CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST) sites Site <br /> ' history and findings from previous investigations and previous monitoring events at the site are <br /> summarized in Appendix A Quarterly monitoring data from Apnl 1996 to the present is summarized <br /> in Tables 1 and 2 of this report <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> On 07 February 2403, quarterly ground water monitoring activities were conducted on wells MW-1 <br /> through MW-5 Fieldwork was performed in accordance with guidelines developed by Central Valley <br /> ' Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB) for the investigation of underground storage <br /> tank (UST) sites Ground water monitoring activities conformed to guidelines issued by the Sari <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> The water level and free-phase petroleum product in each monitoring well was measured relative to <br /> the tops of the well casings using a Solinst free-product interface-probe, the ground water elevations <br /> and gradient were determined from this data <br /> After gauging the depth to ground water, each monitoring well was purged with a dedicated, <br /> disposable bailer Between 4 and 5 gallons of ground water were removed from wells MW-1 through <br /> MW-3, and MW-5 (minimum of three casing-volumes per well), 8 gallons of ground water was <br />' removed from well MW-4 n <br /> During purging, free product was observed and measured in well MW-I and MW-4 Approximately <br />' two inches of free-phase product was observed in the first bailer of water removed from well MW-4 <br /> and one inch of product was observed in the first bailer removed from MW-1 <br /> • <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> 1 <br />
