1
' 20 December 2002
. AGE-NC Project No 95-0185
' 0209270), quality control and quality assurance data (QA/QC) and chain-of-custody form are
included in Appendix F
' 4.0. CONCLUSIONS
' Based on the data collected during this monitoring period, AGE concludes
• Ground water flow at the time of the September 2002 ground water monitoring event was
' inferred to be radiating outward, from southwest to northwest,at a gradient of approximately
0 003 ft/ft
• The concentrations of TPH-d and TPH-g in well samples MW-1 through MW-3 remained
significant since the last monitoring event
• Free product has been present in well MW-4 since the June 2002 ground water monitoring
' event
• Soil does not appeared to be impacted in the area of well MW-5
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
' Based upon the results of the third quarter 2002 monitoring event, AGE recommends
' Continued quarterly ground water monitoring at the site for dissolved TPH-d, the next
monitoring event is scheduled for December 2002
• Continued bi-monthly vacuum extraction of ground water and free product from well MW-4
' 0 Implementation of an ozone air-sparging pilot test at the site to evaluate and potentially
mitigate the dissolved TPH-d in the former UST area
' 6.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
' environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based on T
analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the geologic/hydrogeologic
conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation were made from a limited number of
' available data points(i a soil and ground water samples) and subsurface conditions may vary away
• from these data points No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional
interpretations, opinions and recommendations contained in this report
' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
