13 October 1998
AGE-NC Project No. 95-0185
' S.Q. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based upon data collected at the site, AGE recommends the following:
' The PHS-EHD has verbally indicated that soil and possibly groundwater remediation are
necessary at the site and that a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) should be prepared. The CAP
' should include a minimum of three remediation feasibility studies (e.g. in-situ air sparging
pilot test, soil vapor extraction, select bio-enumerations for natural attenuation, soil
excavation and ground water pump and treat)to determine appropriate remedial options for
' the site. Additionally, a ground water well survey of city, domestic, irrigation or monitoring
water wells located within a 2,000-foot radius should be included in the CAP.
• Continued quarterly ground water monitoring; the next quarterly monitoring event should
be scheduled for September 1998.
G.Q. LIMITATIONS
• Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based on
' analytical results provided by an independent laboratory. Evaluations of the geologic/hydrogeologic
conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a limited number of
available data points (i.e. monitoring well ground water samples) and subsurface conditions may
vary away from these data points. No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the
professional recommendations contained in this report.
1
1
' Advanced GeoEnviron mental,Inc.
1
