Miner Ave., Stockton, CA (Figure 1)
Site Code: 1187
i
Dear Mr. Rowe:
Ground Zero Analysis, Inc. (Ground Zero) is submitting this groundwater monitoring and sampling
report for the above referenced site on behalf of Mr. Jay Friedman. This report documents the
most recent groundwater quality data for the site, presents information on groundwater flow and
provides a rationale for case closure.
Field Activities
Activities included surveying and monitoring the water level in well MWI, purging and sampling
groundwater from the well, and analyzing samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline
O?Hg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX), gasoline oxygenate additives, and
volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The location of MWl is shown on Figure 2.
On May 18, 2000, depth to water in well MW 1 was measured in conjunction with quarterly field
work conducted by IT-EMCON at the adjacent 601 East Miner Avenue site. On May 31, 2000,
depth to water in well MW I was measured, and well MW 1 was surveyed and tied into an existing
well (MW5) from the 601 East Miner Avenue site. Water levels in well MW 1 were 27.42 feet
below ground surface bgs and 27.34 feet bgs, on May 18 and May 31, respectively. Groundwater
elevations were calculated by subtracting the depth to water in the wells from the respective
wellhead elevations. Groundwater flow was in a easterly direction with a hydraulic gradient of
approximately 0.0035 ft/ft.
