17 November 2003 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 95-0103 <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br /> LABORATORY ANALYSIS <br /> Selected soil samples will be preserved in the field, stored in a chilled container, under ice and <br /> transported to a State of California Department of Health Services (DHS)-certified on-site mobile <br /> laboratory analytical laboratory for analysis <br /> e Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) in accordance with EPA <br /> Method 8015 Modified(or equivalent), <br /> Volatile aromatics(benzene,toluene,ethylbenzene and xylenes BTEX)In accordance with <br /> EPA Method 8020 (or equivalent) and <br /> • Methyl-tertlarybutyl ether(MTBE),tertiarybutyl alcohol(TBA),d1-isopropyl ether(DIPS), <br /> ethyl tertiary butyl ether(ETBE)and tertiary amyl methyl ether(TAME)in accordance with <br /> EPA Method 8260 Modified <br /> Laboratory reports of soil sample analysis, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality <br /> control (QA/QC) reports and sample chain-of-custody documentation will be presented in a report <br /> . with the findings and recommendations <br /> REPORT PREPARATION <br /> Upon completion of field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis, a report will be prepared <br /> presenting the findings of the investigation The report will include a description of the work <br /> performed and the results of the sampling and analysis Also, conclusions and applicable <br /> recommendations will be included in the report The report will be in a format acceptable to the <br /> SJCEHD and CVRWQCB, and will be reviewed and signed by a Califorma Registered Geologist <br /> EQUIPMENT DECONTAMINATION <br /> All push rods and sampling tools will be cleaned thoroughly prior to advancement at each boring <br /> location <br /> FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative and synopsis and reporting will be <br /> under the supervision of a California Registered Geologist Procedures for the soil sampling and <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
