INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with the request of Mr Russell Chapin,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has <br /> prepared this Quarterly Report of field activities conducted at 1766 Monte Diablo Avenue, Stockton, <br /> California Quarterly ground water monitoring activities were performed on 31 March 1998 and the <br /> ' install'ation and sampling of an additional ground water well occurred on,01 and 02 April 1998, <br /> , <br /> respectively <br /> ' Soil and ground water remediation unit operations are also detailed in this report The location of <br /> the site and its surroundings are illustrated in Figure 1 -Location Map Structures,well locations and <br /> former UST location on the site are illustrated iii Figure 2 -Site Plan <br /> The ground water monitoring activities were performed in accordance with guidelines for' <br /> investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites established by the San Joaquiii County Public <br /> Health Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional`Water <br /> Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) <br /> Site history and findings from previous investigations and monitoring events at the site are <br /> i. <br /> summarized in Final Remedial Plan,(FRP)prepared by Geological Audit Serv,.ces and in a previous' <br /> ' quarterly report prepared by AGE, dated 28 March 1997 <br /> I t <br /> I a <br /> 2.4. , PROCEDURES ' <br /> 21 MONIITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> ' On 31 March 1998, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure".the depth g' th to round water in <br /> I <br /> mosiitorng wells MW-1 through,MW 6 relative to the tops of the wel ,casmgs The relative ground <br /> water elevations were calculated by subtracting the depths to ground water from the surveyed well <br /> ` f casing elevations fable 1 , ' <br /> ' After making and recording the»depth to ground water measurements, monitoring well's MW-1 , <br /> through MW-6 were purged using a two-stage purge pump A minimum of three well volumes of <br /> water was removed from each well Ground water parameters (temperature, pH and conductivity) ' <br /> of purged ground,water were measured at regular' intervals using an ICM model 52200 water <br /> Ir <br /> analyzer Dissolved'oxygen measurements of ground water were collected using a YSI-55 rn-situ,' r <br /> " percent oxygen meter <br /> I , <br /> ' i <br /> The Jpurge pump was washed iii an Alconox solution and rinsed with tap water prior to purging each <br /> i Advanced GeoEnvironmental,inr- <br /> r <br /> I 1` L <br />
