�- Lusx GEOSCIENCES GEOLOGICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES 1995 SCHEDULE OF CHARGES AND STATEMENT OF GENERAL CONDITIONS Fees for professional services rendered by Lush Geosciences are computed based on the standard Schedule of Charges summarized below,which apply to all assignments Under certain conditions, a surcharge will be added for environmental assignments A new schedule will be issued at the beginning of each year and will be used to compute charges for all work thereafter, including projects which are ongoing, unless specifically agreed otherwise PERSONNEL Iii Hourly billing rates for various professional categories are as summarized below Principals $90-110 Senior Professionals $90-95 Project Professionals $80-90 Staff Professionals $60-75 Technicians $55 Drafters $45 Clerks/Support Staff $40 When outside the U S A, labor billing rates will be increased by an amount to be agreed upon, but in no case will it exceed the premium paid for similar services by other organizations for work at that location Time spent in travel in the interest of the Client will be charged in accordance with the billing rates listed above and expenses . will be charged as described below In no instance will travel time charges exceed 8 hours in one day OTHERSERVICES Costs for services, equipment, and facilities not furnished directly by Lush Geosciences and unusual items of expense not generally incurred in normal operations will be charged at cost plus 15% Items in this category include laboratory testing,drilling or excavation contractors, contract labor, shipping, subsistence,transportation, printing, photography,reproduction, long-distance communications, mobile telephone communications, and others In-house reproduction and printing will be charged at$0 15 per copy and computer use will be billed at $15 per hour In-house testing, field equipment,transportation, and special computer programs will be charged at standard rates will be made available upon request ENVIRONMENTAL SERVI!E Assignments related to soil and groundwater contamination, air pollution, asbestos and other contaminants may be subject to a surcharge of 10% on standard personnel charges due to training, insurance, and other costs For projects involving both standard and environmental work,the surcharge applies only to those portions which are environmental in nature INVOICES Invoices will be issued monthly or at the end of the project and will be payable upon receipt unless otherwise agreed Interest of 15% per month(but not exceeding the legally acceptable rate)will be charged on past-due balances not paid within 30 days of invoice Any attorney's fees or other costs incurred in collecting any delinquent amount shall be paid by the client (over) 3560 BUSINEss DRIvE, SUITE 120 SACRAMENTO, CA 95820 (916) 737-9294 FAX (916) 737-9298
