INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Russell Chapin,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> f <br /> Quarterly Report of field activities conducted during the second quarter of 2000 at 1766 Monte <br /> ' Diablo Avenue, Stocktori, California <br /> The site setting is, illustrated id Figure 1 Structures and well locations on or near the site are <br /> illustrated in Figure 2 Quarterly ground water monitoring activities were conducted on 07 April <br /> 2000 <br /> Site history and findings from previous investigations and monitoring events at the site are <br /> summarized in Problem Assessment Report (PAR) prepared by Science & Engineering Analysis <br /> Corporation (SEACOR) dated 22 July 1994 and in Quarterly Report-September 1995, prepared by <br /> AGE, dated 03 October 1995 <br /> � I <br /> k A;meeting was held on 04 April 2000 at the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) to discuss the closure of the site Representatives of <br /> AGE, Mr Russell Chapin,representatives of the PHS-EHD and the Central Valley Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) were present to determme site closure criteria and future <br /> requirements for remediation of the site Re-initiation of the active soil and ground water remediation <br /> was directed by the regulatory agencies AGE has made repairs to the remediation system and has <br /> collected a soil gas sample, from the soil vapor extraction unit, for analysis to assess system <br /> effectiveness All analytes were non-detect, however air-sparging was not activated The combined <br /> remediation system is ready to resume operation in late June 2000 <br /> 1 E <br /> 2.0 PROCEDURES <br /> , <br /> Ground water monitoring activities were performed in accordance with guidelines established by the <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services - 'Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and <br /> ' Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and were performed in <br /> accordance with the approved Work Plan Addendums, variously dated 07 Apnl 1997, 10 May 1999, <br /> ' <br /> and 05 July 1999 <br /> E <br /> ' 2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> ,On 07 April 2000, a Solmst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in <br /> ' monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-6, and vapor wells VE'I-and VE-6, relative to the,tops of the <br /> I well casings (Table 1) <br /> Advanced GeoF nveronmental,[nc <br />
