INTRODUCTION <br /> ' At the request of Mr Russell Chapin,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> report for the site located at 1766 Monte Diablo Avenue, Stockton, California A ground water <br /> remediation system was Installed between December 2001 and March 2002, influent and effluent <br /> ' ground water samples from the remediation system were collected and analyzed in April and May <br /> 2002 and a quarterly groundwater monitoring event was conducted on 30 May 2002 The site setting <br /> is illustrated in Figure 1 Structures and well locations on or near the site are illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> ' Background information and a description of prior Investigations at the site are included in the <br /> Problem Assessment Report (PAR) prepared by Science & Engineering Analysis Corporation <br /> ' (SEACOR) dated 22 July 1994 and in the AGE-prepared Quarterly Report - June and July 1999 <br /> dated 08 September 1999 Quarterly monitoring data from January 1994 to the present is <br /> summarized in Tables 1 and 2 In this report <br /> 1 <br /> 2 0 GROUND WATER REMEDIATION SYSTEM <br /> ' Between December 2001 and March 2002, three ground water recovery wells, a ground water <br /> treatment system and associated piping were installed at the site Ground water remediation system <br /> ' installation and operation were performed in accordance with procedures described in the approved <br /> Remedial Action Work Plan Addendum, dated 28 June 2001 <br /> 21 INSTALLATION OF GROUND WATER RECOVERY WELLS <br /> ' Three ground water recovery wells were installed and developed between December 2001 and <br /> January 2002 <br /> 1 <br /> 2 1 1 Drilling Procedures <br /> 1 Between 21 and 22 December 2001,three soil borings were advanced using a truck-mounted CME <br /> 75-HT drill rig equipped with continuous flight 12-inch augers,the drill rig and two-man crew were <br /> ' prodded by V&W Drilling of Rio Vista, California The soil borings were advanced to a depth of <br /> 30 feet below surface grade (bsg), soil samples were not collected Soil cuttings and rinseate were <br /> containerized in DOT-approved 55-gallon drums and placed in the southwester portion of the site <br /> ' The boring locations are depicted in Figure 2 <br /> lei <br /> Advanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> 1 <br />
