The tanks are <br /> thought to be 17 to 40 years old. The site is covered by asp-halt and concrete paving <br /> and the sit%-, building. Two 8,000-gallon underground tanks are present in the <br /> nortbeaste-m. quadrant of the site; they contained super unleaded and regular ieaded <br /> gasoline fur retail sale. `1'wo 4,000-gallon tanks along the northwestern edge of the <br /> site are, ,nanlfbidedtogether and stored regular unleaded gasoline. One 500-gallon <br /> waste oil tank is present between the site building and the eastern property line. <br /> We previously conducted a subsurface environmental investigation to <br /> evaluate soil and groundwater conditions at site. The investigation included drilling <br /> one soil boring to a depth of approximately 35 feet and installing one monitoring <br /> well. T soil encountered in the soil boring consisted of sandy silt in the upper 12 ft <br /> W'd slightly silty sand from 12 ft to at least 35 ft.
