(GTI) and Del-Tech Geotechnical
Support Services (Del-Tech) are pleased to submit the following proposal.
Objective_of Work
The objectives of this work are summarized in the following:
• To install test, operate and maintain a vapor extraction and treatment system
(VETS), install one air sparging well and conduct remedial monitoring and
maintenance tasks once the system is on-line for a period of one year,
• To perform to rounds of soil testing at six month intervals to track the progress
of the remedial action. (We do not believe this is necessary to track the progress
of site remediation. A preferred method is to 'increase the number of vapor
extraction/recharge wells tested for air samples during the extraction process.)
Note: Geological Technics 1nc. believes that the scope of work provided in this
Invitation For Bid may not adequately address all issues relevant to completing the
task of mitigating the environmental conditions at this site.
