(AGE)
has conducted a review of the soil vapor extraction (SVE) network and in-situ air-sparginoL U.4Snetwnetworkork-
installed at the above referenced site. The review was conducted to determine if need for
additional wells and networking was to be expected at the site.
The followim, is a surnmary of the review:
• Two soil vapor extraction wells installed at the site are not presently connected to the SVF
network. 'These extraction wells, VW-1 and VE-1 should be connected to the SVE systenl
for in-am.mum cleanup effiiciencyatthe site
I
•
Monitoring well MW-4 is connected to the SVE network; however the screen interval of the
well is also not appropriate for extraction. The ground water depth at the site is presently at
the top of the screened interval of the well. An additional SVE well should be installed near
the location of monitoring well MW-4 and connected into the SVE network.
6 One IAS well was installed at the site. Three air-sparging observation wells are installed at
the site. The observation wells are not constructed appropriately for use in the in-situ air-
sparging network.
0 The installation of additional IAS injection points will be necessary to rernediate the
impacted ground water at the site. AGE recommends the installation of six MS injection
points. 17he points should be installed with direct push technology (DPT) and connected into
the current IAS network system. The proposed placement of JAS injection points will
1803 West March Lane, Suite A. Stockton, California 95207
Telephone (209)956-0264 FAX (209)956-0700
