ME
a Total hydrocarbons by EPA 8015 modified (Anametrix
C test EPA 5020) , EPA 8010 (EDS) .
o Benzene
o Toluene
o Xylenes (BTX)
o Organic lead
Six soil samples were tested for the parameters shown above.
The lab reports for these tests are contained in Appendix B.
All soil samples (from both borings) had concentrations ]below
the detection limits for all of the parameters tested. Total
lead tests show concentrations in the low parts per million
range, well below the action level of 1000 ppm.
On June 8, 1887 water samples were oLtained after purging of
wells W-5 and W-6. The water samples from well W-5 contained
concentrations of benzene at 4.9 ug/ml (mg/1) , toluene at 4.5
ug/ml (mg/1) and total xylenes at 30.0 ug/ml (mg/1) . EDB was
i
found to be at 0.008 ug/ml (mg/1) and total lead was less than
0.10 mg/l. The laboratory results for testing groundwater
samples parameters are attached in Appendix C.
In well W-6 concentrations of benzene were found to be 0.005
`ug/m1 (mg/1) , toluene at 0.004 ug/ml (mg/1) , total xylenes at
0.01 ug/ml (mg/1) , and total gasoline hydrocarbons at 0.06
ug/ml (mg/l) EDB was undetected and -total lead was less then
0. 10 mg/1. 6
