The following is an itemized list of hazardous materials violations that have not been <br /> addressed for Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park as of May04, 2020. <br /> Open violations from February 25, 2020 inspection <br /> Violation#8 - Failed to submit a training program or program is not reasonable or adequate for facility. <br /> Atraining program has not been submitted. Training programs for all employees and annual training, including <br /> refresher courses, shall include familiarity with the facility's Emergency response plans and procedures in the event <br /> of a release or threatened release of a hazardous material. Training shall cover, but not limited to, all of the <br /> following: <br /> (A) Immediate notification contacts to the appropriate local emergency response personnel and to the unified <br /> program agency. <br /> (B) Procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or damage to <br /> persons, property, or the environment. <br /> (C) Evacuation plans and procedures, including immediate notice, for the business site. <br /> These training programs may take into consideration of each employee. Immediately prepare or update the facility's <br /> training program, log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, <br /> upload the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#9 - Failed to annually review and certify that the business plan is complete, accurate, and up to <br /> date. <br /> The business plan information has not been reviewed and resubmitted in the California Environmental Reporting <br /> System (CERS) annually for 2019 and 2020. The hazardous materials inventory shall be submitted by January 15 <br /> of each calendar year and may be submitted beginning November 1 of the previous year. Immediately log into the <br /> CERS at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, enter the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#10 - Failed to submit revisions to business plan within 30 days of substantial change in <br /> operations. <br /> During the inspection, five 55 gallon drums, a 30 gallon drum, and a 500 gallon tank of sodium hypochlorite, and a <br /> 1,000 pound and 400 pound bulk storage containers of carbon dioxide were found on site that have not been <br /> reported and the updated information has not been submitted. Within 30 days of one the following events, business <br /> shall electronically update the information submitted to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS): <br /> -A 100 percent or more increase in the quantity of a previously disclosed material. <br /> -Any handling of a previously undisclosed hazardous materials <br /> -A change of business address, business ownership, or business name. <br /> Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, enter the <br /> correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br />
