Primex Ordnance and Tactical Systems <br />EPA ID No.: CAD006626762 <br />A. <br />Draft Hazardous Waste Facility Permit <br />III. SPECIFIC CONDITIONS <br />Table 1 lists the units and the on-site hazardous waste streams authorized to be managed <br />in those units according to the conditions of this permit. The Permittee shall not receive <br />any hazardous waste offsite for treatment, storage, or disposal, unless otherwise <br />approved by the Department. <br />*CWC = California Waste Code <br />The Closed Vessel Detonation Unit (CVD) consists of a pressure vessel, its structural <br />supports, a concrete pad with berms on three sides, and all components described in <br />Section IV of the Part B application. <br />The CVD maalso be used for product testing provided that all applicable requirements <br />in Section III f this permit are satisfied. <br />1. For each shipment of raw LX -14 explosives received for processing, the Permittee <br />shall fol] w the verification procedures found in Sections III.B.1 and III.B.2, p. III - <br />7, of the Part B application. <br />2. The LX -14 manufacturing process shall be evaluated every six months for any <br />changes that would alter the physical and chemical properties of the LX -14 wastes <br />generateJ. This evaluation shall be maintained as part of the operating record <br />required under Section II.E.4 of this permit. <br />3. If the re <br />change i <br />shall fol <br />tiew required under Sections I11.B.I or Ill. B.2 of this permit reveals a <br />i the characteristics of LX -14 waste that is to be detonated, the Permittee <br />ow the procedures in Section III.B.4, p.
