PROBLEM ASSESSMENT REPORT <br /> Moreland Court Shell <br /> 7700 Moreland Court, Stockton, Califnrma <br /> ' Delta Project No 40$8-146 <br /> Page 9 <br /> ' 2.5 Site Water Supply Well <br /> The service station utilizes an on site water supply well The pump for the water supply well was replaced <br /> on October 5, 1989 The water level in the well was reported to be 68 feet below the surface at that time <br /> The well is 120 feet deep and 6 inches in diameter Delta has been unable to locate a well tog or <br /> construction report for this well The County and the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) <br /> do not have a record of this well <br /> ' On November 8, 1989,a representative of Delta collected around water sample from$ p the water supply well <br /> ' The sample was submitted to a state-certified laboratory and analyzed for TPH, BTEX, and halogenated <br /> volatile organics All of the analytical results were below the analytical method detection limits The <br /> analytical reports are included in Appendix H <br /> 2.6 Utilities <br /> The site utilizes aseptic tank and leach field,located behind the station building(east side) A water supply <br /> well,located on the west side of the site adjacent to Moreland Court,supplies water to the service station <br /> ' The septic system, water supply well, and underground utilities are shown in Figure 3 <br /> ' Prior to commencement of work on site, Delta researched the location of all underground utilities with the <br /> assistance of Underground Service Alert (USA) USA contacted the owners of the various utilities in the <br /> vicinity of the site to have the utility owners mark the locations of their underground utilities All the work <br /> ' associated with the boring and monitoring well installation was preceded by probing and hand-augering to <br /> a minimum depth of 5 feet below grade to avoid contact with the unmarked utilities <br /> 2 7 Water Supply Well Inventory <br /> An inventory of domestic, municipal,and agricultural water supply wells was initiated on February 14, 1990, <br /> by a Delta representative at DWR A total of 42 wells were identified within Sections 13 and 18, T2N, <br /> ' R 6E Table 6 indicates the well use, owner, location, and date drilled for each well Three of these wells <br /> are located near the corner of Hammer Lane and Moreland Court <br />
