Laboratory that will collect soil samples: • FOL Environmental, Stockton, CA
A signed "Release of Information Authorization" is attached:
7. Re-excavation/resample steps: At this time Jim Thorpe Oil, on behalf
of Raymond Investment Corporation, is requesting a re-excavation/resample
to hopefully remove any remaining traces of gasoline contamination. We
propose to excavate an area starting 3' north of the existing wall, extending
east and west 3' from the existing wall to a point 5' south of the existing
wall to a maximum depth of 17'. Total proposed excavation is 14' wide x
22' long x 17' deep. The total amount of additional excavated soil will be
approximately 169 cubic yards. All spoils will be placed on plastic and
i
covered with same in the area immediately west of the excavation. Soil samples
' will be taken by the above properly licensed facility from the teeth of the
a hoe bucket with brass tubes. Samples will be taken in the appropriate places;
2 from the bottom of the excavation and 2 from the middle of each side wall
for a total of 10 samples, Soil samples will be analyzed for 8TX A E and
TPH-G, 5idewall sample depths will start at 15' and the second sample will
be taken at 10'. (See attached drawings 8, C and D For proposed excavation,
resample and spoils locations). Soil remediation plan will be submitted
subsequent to analysis results,
We also plan to take two composite samples from the spoils pile and analyze
as above.
B. eduled within two weeks following your
Timing• Sampling could be sch
review of this work plan.
