Laboratory that will collect soil samples: FGL Environmental, Stockton, CA <br /> A signed "Release of Information Authorization" is attached: <br /> 7. Re-excavation/resample steps: At this time Jim Thorpe Oil, on behalf <br /> of Raymond Investment Corporation, is requesting a re-excavation/resample <br /> to hopefully remove any remaining traces of gasoline contamination. We <br /> propose to excavate an area starting 3' north of the existing wall, extending <br /> east and west 3' from the existing wall to a point 5' south of the existing <br /> wall to a maximum depth of 17'. Total proposed excavation is 14"wide:x. <br /> 221 long x 17' deep. The total amount of additional excavated soil will be <br /> approximately 169 cubic yards. Allspoils will be placed .on.plastic'and <br /> covered<'with:same in'-the''area immediately west of the excavation. Soil samples <br /> will be taken by the above properly licensed facility from the teeth of the <br /> I hoe bucket with brass tubes. Samples will.•be taken in the appropriate places; <br /> 2:from._the bottom of.-the excavation 'and 2 from .the middle of'each-side waT1 ' <br /> IC 2 for a iota] nf,;:10' samples': Soil samples will be analyzed for BTX & E and <br /> I(� ' <br /> TPH-R. Sidewa1l sample depths will start at 15' and the second sample will <br /> be taken at 101. (See attached drawings 8, C and D for proposed excavation, <br /> resample and spoils locations). Soil remediati'bn plan will be submitted <br /> subsequent to analysis results. <br /> We also plan to take two composite samples from the spoils pile and analyze <br /> as above. <br /> 8. Timing: Sampling could be scheduled within two weeks following your <br /> review of this. work plan.
