INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Liaqat Khan, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for Local Food Store, located at 2650 Monte Diablo Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> (the site) The scope of work included installation of one deep-screened ground water monitoring <br /> well, monitoring and sampling five ground water monitoring wells and preparation of this report <br /> The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 On-site structures, boring and monitoring well <br /> locations are illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> This report has prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB)guidelines for subsurface investigations of underground storage tank(UST) sites A <br /> general history of the site is included in Appendix A Previous ground water monitoring results are <br /> included in the tables of this report <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> . The field activities were performed in accordance with the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department (EHD)-approved Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan, prepared by AGE, <br /> dated 29 November 1999 <br /> 2 1 MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION <br /> One ground water monitoring well (MW-5) was installed on 21 July 2003, developed on 24 July <br /> 2003 and in April 2004 <br /> 2 1 1 Drilling and Sampling <br /> The pilot boring for monitoring well MW-5 was advanced using a CME-75 drill ng,equipped with <br /> 8 25-inch diameter hollow-stem augers The drill ng and three-man crew were supplied by Mitchell <br /> Drilling Environmental <br /> Soil samples were collected ahead of the drill bit using a California modified split-spoon sampler <br /> loaded with three pre-cleaned 2-inch by 6-inch brass sleeves Soil samples collected from boring <br /> MW-5 at five-foot intervals, beginning at 35 feet below surface grade (bsg) using a 140-pound <br /> hammer to advance the sampler The number of blows required to advance the sampler over each <br /> 6-inch increment of the 18-inch sampling interval were recorded on the boring log Sampling <br /> equipment was washed in an Alconox solution and double rinsed with water prior to each sampling <br /> • Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
