INTRODUCTION <br /> r <br /> ' At the request of Mr Liaqat Khan, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for Local Food Store, located at 2650 Monte Diablo,Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> (the site) The scope of work included monitoring and sampling four ground water monitoring wells <br /> ' and preparation of this report The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 On-site structures, <br /> boring and monitoring well locations are illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> ' This report has prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB) guidelines for subsurface investigations of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> General background information is presented in Appendix A Previous ground water monitoring <br /> results are included in the tables of this report ; <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> . The field activities were performed in accordance with the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> ' Health,Department (EHD)-approved Prehminary Site Assessment Work Plan, prepared by AGE, <br /> dated 29 November 1999 <br /> I ' � <br /> F 'tl rn I <br /> I <br /> 21 WELL MONITORING AND'EVACUATION <br /> ' r I ' r� ' { ` � <br /> On 14 December 2002, a Solmst water level meter was used to measure the depth to,ground water <br /> in all four monitoring wells relative to the tops of the well casings After water levels were measured, k <br /> ' each well was purged utilizing a disposable bailer or two-stage pump Approximately;6 gallons (a <br /> minimum of three casing-water volumes) of water were removed from,wel&MW-1, MW--3 and <br /> MW-4 and 23 gallons of water were removed from well MW-2 ; <br /> I " ' <br /> f Temperature,pH and`conductivity of the purged water were measured at approximately two-gallon <br /> I ' intervals for MW-1,MW-3 and MW-4 and at five-gallon intervals for MW-2 Temperature,pH and <br /> ' conductivity of the purged water was measured using an Oakton water analyzer (Appendix B) <br /> Purged water was stored on-site in 55-gallon, DOT-approved`drums <br /> 1 I � { � I � r• .I r 1 �{ 1 <br /> 22 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS'OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES I <br /> r <br /> Prior tib collection of ground water samples, the depth to ground water was measured again in each ,! <br /> • well to„ensure that a minimurin of 80%of the initial well volume had recharged A water sample was <br /> collected from each well using a riew disposable plastic bailer and were transferred'intothree 40' <br /> o I <br /> sir f I,1 u ' <br />
