Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2000 Y <br /> Local Food Store <br /> 2650 Monte Diablo Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> ' 10 INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Ljagat Khan of Local Food Store,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) <br /> ' has prepared this quarterly report for Local Food Store, located at 2650 Monte Diablo Avenue, <br /> _ -Stockton, California(the site) - <br /> ' The scope of work of this investigation included 1)ground water sampling of three monitoring wells <br /> on 07 September 2000, 2) installation of one additional ground water monitoring well on 02 October <br /> 2000, 3) ground water sampling of the newly installed monitoring well on 20 October 2000 and 4) <br /> preparation of this report of findings The location of the site with respect to its surroundings is <br /> illustrated in Figure 1 On-site structures, boring and monitoring well locations are illustrated in <br /> Figure 2 - - <br /> This report is prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> ' guidelines for subsurface investigations of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> General background information and- data were-presented in Preliminary Evaluation and <br /> Investigation Report, dated 04 August 2000, prepared by AGE <br /> -2.0. PROCEDURES - - - <br /> The field activities were performed in accordance with the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> ' Services- Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD)-approved Preliminary Site Assessment Woi k <br /> Plan prepared by AGE dated 29 November 1999 and Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan <br /> Addendum for installation of an additional ground water monitoring well prepared by AGE, dated <br /> 17 May 2000 <br /> ' During this quarter one additional ground water monitoring well was installed within the former <br /> UST area to complete the on-site assessment of petroleum-hydrocarbon impacted ground water <br /> Additionally,the ground water monitoring well network was sampled and the ground water samples <br /> ' were analyzed <br /> ' 2 1 _ GROUND WATER MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION <br /> N On 02 October 2000, one pilot soil boring(MW4) were advanced utilizing a hollow stem auger drill <br /> ' rig for the installation of one ground water monitoring well The monitoring well was located within <br /> the fonner UST excavation The dnll'rig and two-man crew were supplied by West Hazmat Drilling <br /> s of Rancho Cordova, California- -- - <br />
