C A M B R I A
The soil chemical analytical data (including data from SB-1 and other previous work) are
summarized in Table 2 and TPHg, benzene, and MTBE concentrations are presented on Figure 2
Laboratory analytical reports are presented in Appendix D
HYDROCARBON DISTRIBUTION IN GROUNDWATER
TPHg and BTEX were not detected in groundwater samples from any of the wells MTBE was
detected in groundwater samples collected from wells MW-2 and MW-3 at concentrations of 520
f
and 7,200 ppb, respectively TAME was also detected in wells MW-2 and MW-3 at
concentrations of 37 and 25 ppb, respectively No other fuel oxygenates were detected in
groundwater samples collected from the wells
The groundwater chemical analytical data are summarized in the well concentrations table in
Blaine's report (Appendix Q and in Table 3 Benzene and MTBE results are presented on
Figure 3 Laboratory analytical data are included in Blaine's report(Appendix C)
. SENSITIVE RECEPTOR SURVEY
Cambria reviewed California Department of Water Resources (DWR) records to identify water
production wells located within a 2,000-foot radius of the site, performed a door-to-door survey
to determine the location of water supply wells within 500 feet of the subject site, and reviewed
United States Geologic Survey topographic and California State Automobile Association maps to
identify surface water bodies within 2,000 feet of the site (Figure 1)
Water Wells DWR records indicated that there were several domestic wells on Moreland Street
and Hammer Lane within 2,000 feet of the subject site Cambria visited 25 addresses during the
door-to-door survey Three residents were available to directly answer questions and
informational questionnaires were left at or marled to 22 addresses To date, Cambria has
received three responses to the questionnaires The residents Cambria spoke with indicated that
all the houses along Moreland Street have domestic and/or irrigation wells Some of these
residences may have more than one well, and some may be abandoned Cambria identified and
mapped 21 wells at residences on Moreland Street In addition to these wells, Cambria identified
three domestic wells on Hammer Lane The 24 identified wells range from approximately 160 to
1,090 feet from the subject site The closest well is located at 4298 Hammer Lane, west of the
subject site
0953 5
