Due to the age of the steel underground <br /> k storage tanks Shell decided to replace the tanks with fiberglass tanks. <br /> r w` On December 20, 1988,three steal underground storage tanks were excavated and removed from the <br /> site. A tank,closure report detailing the tank removal activities was submitted to San Joaquin County <br /> in April, 1989. Three new 10,000 gallon double walled fiberglass underground storage tanks were <br /> (` installed on December 27; 1988.
