The soil samples
ware identified as SP-1 through SP-6.
The results of the chemical analysis for these cuestituents were all below the analytical detection
limit. A summary of the chemical results are shown in Table 5 and laboratory data sheets are
presented in Appendix C.
Approval was obtained from San Joaquin County, to dispose of the 200 cubic yards of sail as
Forward Landfill in Stockton,California. The soils were transported on February I6, 1989.
i.
t Approximataly 800 cubic yards of soil were excavated from the new tank excavation and stockpiled
= on site.
t! Fourcomposite soil samples were obtained from the stockpiled soils on December 28, 1988,and were
IP
r sant to the laboratory for chemical analysis of BTEX,EDB,organa lead, and TPH. The soil samples
were identified as CSP-3, CSP-4, CSP-5, and CSP-6. The chemical analysis of these petroleum
r constituents were below the analytical detection limit. A summary of the chemical results are shown
in Table 4 with laboratory data sheets presented in Appendix C.
Cay
f
Four hundred cubic yards were used as backfill for the former tank excavation. Approval was
obtained.from San. Joaquin County, to dispose of the remaining 400 cubic yards of soil at the
Forward Landfill in Stockton,California, during the week of January 1, I989.
PA Visual observations and laboratory analysis of soil samples taken from the bottom of the former tank i
excavation have verified that petroleum hydrocarbons are present in the soils beneath the ft,Amer
i
., tame cluster.
