' Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2005 <br /> MEL BOKIDES PETROLEUM,INC. <br />' 444 Mossdale Road, Lathrop, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Nick Bokides of Mel Bokides Petroleum, Inc ,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, <br />' Inc (AGE) has prepared the enclosed report for the former Mel Bokides Petroleum faculty located <br /> at 444 Mossdale Road,Lathrop,California(site) The scope of work included gauging and sampling <br /> of the on-site ground water monitoring well network, submission of monitoring and analytical data <br />' to the State Water Resources Control Board's GeoTracker information management system, and <br /> preparation of this report The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures, previous soil <br /> borings, and monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> 4 <br /> Field work was performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br />' (CVRWQCB)and San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)guidelines for the <br /> subsurface investigation of underground storage tank(UST)sites and ground water monitoring well <br /> sampling procedures, respectively The site history, a description of work previously performed at <br />' the site with analytical data from the previous investigations, and a site conceptual model are <br /> summarized in Appendix A <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br />' On 28 April 2005,groundwater monitoring and sampling were performed at the site on wells MW-1 <br /> through MW-5 <br />' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br />' A Solmst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in monitoring wells <br /> MW-I through MW-5 After depth to ground water measurements were obtained, approximately <br /> 6 gallons of water were removed from wells MW-1 through MW-5 (a minimum of three casing <br />' water volumes per well) using dedicated, disposable polyethylene bailers Temperature, pH, and <br /> conductivity of purged ground water were measured at regular intervals for stabilization using an <br />' Oakton water analyzer Field data sheets are included in Appendix B <br /> Purged water was stored on-site in properly labeled,Department of Transportation(DOT)-approved <br /> 55-gallon drums pending proper disposal Following purging, the depth to ground water was re- <br /> measured to ensure that a minimum 80%well-volume recharge had been achieved prior to sampling <br /> r <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
