The oxygenated compounds di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl tertiary-butyl ether (ETBE),
methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), tertiary-amyl methyl ether (TAME), tertiary butanol
(TBA), ethyl dibromide(EDB) and 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA)in accordance with EPA
Method 8260B
3.0. FINDINGS
Ground water elevation, flow direction and gradient were determined from field data collected on 05
September 2003 while the hydrocarbon-impact to ground water was assessed by laboratory analysis
of the ground water samples
r
3 1 GROUND WATER ELEVATION AND GRADIENT
The depth to ground water ranged between 14 53 feet below well casing grade in well MW-3 to
15 89 feet below well casing grade in well MW-5 (Table 1) The relative ground water elevation
ranged from 8 80 to 1157 feet below sea level. The top of the ground water table occurred within
the screened intervals of the wells Groundwater was inferred to be flowing to the t
at a significant hydraulic gradient of 0 02 feet/feet.The groundwater elevation contours are depicted
on Figure 3
Advanced GeoEnvironn=tal,Inc
