In his memo, Dr. Luthra states that the levels of <br /> contaminants remaining (at the bottom of the initial <br /> excavations) are unlikely to result in any adverse health <br /> effects. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> I believe that Bennett Properties has submitted sufficient data <br /> to show that the surface-visible oily contamination in the <br /> area of the metal building, as identified in Dames and Moore's <br /> preliminary screening, was cleaned-up. <br /> A letter to that effect should be sent. The letter should <br /> note that our findings extend only to the areas of the site <br /> addressed by the clean-up effort.
