Total metals were detected as follows: barium at 4.8 milligrams per liter
1 (mg/L); chromium at 0.86 mg/L; cobalt at 0.20 mg/L; copper at 0.32 mg/L;
lead at 0.12 mg/L; mercury at 0.00069 mg/L; molybdenum at 0.064 mg/L;
nickel at 1.1 mg/L; vanadium at 1.2 mg/L, and zinc at 1.2 mg/L.
[ Dissolved metals were detected as follows: barium at 1.8 mg/L; chromium at
t 0.11 mg/L; copper at 0.025 mg/L; lead at 0.0072 mg/L; nickel at 0.18 mg/L;
and zinc at 0.24 mg/L.
3.2.3 Sampling Location LH-2
iSamples from location LH-2 were analyzed for VOCs. Due to subsurface
conditions and slow ground water recharge, only sufficient quantities of
ground water for VOCs analysis were obtained from location LH-2. Attempts
to obtain additional ground water at adjacent sampling locations did not yield
I sufficient quantities for further analyses. VOCs were not detected above
l method detection limits in the samples from this location.
J 3.2.4 Sampling Location LH-4
Samples from location LH-4 were analyzed for VOCs, VSOCs, and total
I metals. Due to subsurface conditions and slow ground water recharge, only
sufficient quantities of ground water for VOCs, VSOCs, and total metals
analyses were obtained from location LH-4. Attempts to obtain additional
ground water at adjacent sampling locations did not yield sufficient quantities
for analysis of dissolved metals.
VOCs were not detected above method detection limits in the samples from
this location. VSOCs were not detected above method detection limits in the
samples from this location.
Total metals were detected as follows: arsenic at 0.16 mg/L; barium at 3.7
mg/L; beryllium at 0.014 mg/L; chromium at 1.3 mg/L; cobalt at 0.33 mg/L;
copper at 1.3 mg/L; lead at 0.24 mg/L; mercury at 0.00032 mg/L;
molybdenum at 0.020 mg/L; nickel at 1.0 mg/L; vanadium at 1.6 mg/L, and
zinc at 1.3 mg/L.
3.2.5 Sampling Location LH-5
jSamples from location LH-5 were analyzed for VOCs, VSOCs, and total and
dissolved metals. Based on an assumed ground water flow direction toward
the southwest, location LH-5 is considered the most up-gradient sampling point
at the subject facility.
I( ERM-WEST,INC. 27
Ud50 .0
5
