Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95201
DRILLING PROPOSAL FOR STOCKTON SCAVENGERS AT 1240 NAVY DRIVE,
STOCKTON, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
We understand that Biosystems Management International (BMI)
wishes to begin installation of three monitoring wells tomorrow,
31 August 1988 . The Health District will not approve their
drilling permit until receiving written acceptance of the
drilling program from the Regional Board.
We concur with the installation of the three monitoring wells in
the locations proposed by BMI and the Health District by phone on
30 August 1988 . (These locations are modifications from those
originally proposed by BMI in a 19 August 1988 report) . Our
concurrence is conditional on the monitoring wells installed to
prevent any cross contamination of aquifers, and properly
screened so as to not form conduits for fluid migration from the
surface to the ground water.
If any of the first three wells installed contains contaminated
ground water, additional monitoring wells will be necessary to
define the extent of ground water contamination.
If you have any questions, please call Gordon Lee Boggs at (916)
361-5740.
GARY S.
