■ No guard, safety device, or appliance may be removed from vehicles except for <br /> • the purpose of making repairs Such removal will only be done by persons <br /> qualified to make the repair <br />�I ■ Floors and decks of vehicles must be kept clean and free of anything that might <br /> cause slipping, tripping, or a falling hazard <br /> 0 The driver and all passengers riding in vehicles shall use the seat belts provided <br /> All vehicles shall be equipped with seat belts and passive restraint equipment as <br /> required by law <br /> ■ Personnel are prohibited from riding, standing, or sitting on moving vehicles <br /> unless they are secured in a seat with an industry-approved safety belt <br /> ■ No vehicle will be operated in a reckless or careless manner or at a speed that <br /> is not safe or prudent under the prevailing conditions of weather, traffic, ground <br /> surface, visibility, load, or type of vehicle <br />' ■ Personnel will not operate vehicles outside of the scope of their regular duty <br /> except with specific instructions from their supervisors <br /> e All vehicles shall be adequately secured against accidental or unauthorized <br /> starting or movement when not in use <br /> e Keys will be removed from vehicles at the end of the workday and placed in a <br /> secure area designated by the Project Safety Officer <br /> 1014 Traffic Control <br /> Traffic routes and control will be established on all major project sites and, where such <br /> are provided, shall comply with the construction drawings, specifications or conditions of <br /> contract <br />' Company or subcontractor vehicles or equipment when not in use shall be parked in <br /> designated areas on-site that are well clear of ongoing operations, and such that they will not <br /> interfere with the work or hinder response to any emergency <br /> Personal vehicles shall be parked off the construction site or, where no off-site parking <br /> is available and on-site space is provided, personal vehicles shall be parked in designated <br /> 10-20 REV 4142-EGI <br /> IIIra <br />
