EI Dorado <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br /> the addendum to the previous approved application for a permit to replace 87-octane spill <br /> bucket, and replace the functional element and test the diesel PLLD on the underground <br /> storage tank (UST) system at the above noted address. The addendum proposes adding <br /> replacement of the 87-octane annular sensor with a Veeder Root Model 303. The permit has <br /> been approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Jeff Wong at (209) 468-0335 to arrange the following inspection appointments <br /> (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that <br /> inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval. <br /> a. Sensor functionality: Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to <br /> ensure that monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 <br /> California Code of Regulations and the Health & Safety Code. <br /> b. Leak detector test: Leak detector must be tested to confirm that the device can <br /> detect a leak of 3 gallons per hour at 10 psi. <br /> c. Spill bucket test: Verify minimum 5-gallon capacity and pass a one hour hydrostatic <br /> test (or equivalent). Proper drainage must also be verified. <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the UST system tank prior to the <br /> EHD inspection and approval. <br /> 4. If concrete will be broken near the UST or piping, a secondary containment test must be <br /> performed on the UST or piping once concrete is poured in accordance with the <br /> manufacturer's guidelines. <br /> At <br />
