EI Dorado, Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EIAD) has completed the review of <br /> the application for a permit to repair/adjust the diesel leak detector, and replace gaskets with <br /> Pomeco P31 1G on the fill sumps and spill buckets on the underground storage tank (UST) <br /> system at the above noted address, and the subsequent amendment of the permit application to <br /> replace the 87 annular sensor with a Veeder-Root Model 303 sensor. The permit has been <br /> approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Jeff Wong at (209) 468-0335 to arrange the following inspection appointments <br /> (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that <br /> inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval. <br /> a. Sensor functionality: 'Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to <br /> ensure that monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 <br /> California Code of Regulations and the Health & Safety Code. <br /> b. Leak detector test: Leak detector must be tested to confirm that the device can <br /> detect a leak of 3 gallons per hour at 10 psi. <br /> c. Spill bucket test: Verify minimum 5-gallon capacity and pass a one hour hydrostatic <br /> test (or'equivalent). Proper drainage must also be verified. <br /> d. Verify fill sumps are properly sealed to prevent water intrusion. <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the UST system prior to the EHD <br /> inspection and approval. <br /> 4. If concrete will be broken near the UST, a secondary containment test must be <br /> performed on the UST once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacturer's <br /> guidelines. <br />
