File No.: 20-3304-01
February 1, 1990
Page 1
REPORT
GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION
PROPOSED MULTI-PURPOSE BUILDING
COVENANT CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP CHURCH
MANTECA, CALIFORNIA
MS-90-44
INTRODUCTION
In this report are presented the results of a geotechnical investigation performed for
the proposed Covenant Christian Fellowship Church Multi-Purpose Building to be
constructed at the north end of Comconex .Road in Manteca, California. A plot plan
and vicinity map showing the approximate location of the proposed construction are
presented on Plate I.
We understand that construction will consist of an approximate 9,900 square feet
single-story wood-frame structure with a slab-on-grade floor. The structure will
accomodate up to 300 persons and will be surrounded by parking and landscape areas
with a leach field located on the south side of the proposed structure. We also
understand that the rest of the site is for future developement. Additional details
regarding the planned construction or loading conditions are not known to our firm at
this time.
PURPOSES AND SCOPE OF INVESTIGATION
The purposes of our geotechnical investigation have been to explore and evaluate the
surface and subsurface soil conditions at the proposed structure location and to provide
recommendations for use in design. The scope of our services was outlined in our
discussions and in our proposal dated January 11 , 1990. Our services were initiated
based on your written authorization.
1
