KAPREALIAN ENGINEERING <br /> N C O R A O R A T E D <br /> DEC D <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH KEI-P92-0205 .P3 <br /> PERMIT/SERVICES October 6, 1992 <br /> PROPOSAL TO <br /> UNOCAL CORPORATION <br /> for the <br /> Former Unocal Bulk Plant #0950 <br /> 2835 Navy Drive <br /> Stockton, California <br /> GROUND WATER MONITORING, SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Per the recommendations described in Kaprealian Engineering, Ines. <br /> (KEI) report KEI-J92-0205.R1 dated October 6, 1992 , KEI proposes <br /> the following work plan. <br /> PROPOSED TASK <br /> 1. Redevelop all seven existing monitoring wells (see the <br /> attached Site Plan) . Purge until effluent is free of <br /> turbidity. <br /> 2 . Monitor all existing wells on-site on a monthly basis . Record <br /> the elevation of the water table and any abnormal conditions <br /> noted during inspection, including presence of product and <br /> sheen. <br /> 3 . Purge and sample ground water from all monitoring wells <br /> on a quarterly basis, and analyze for total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons (TPH) as gasoline, benzene, toluene, xylenes <br /> and ethylbenzene, and TPH as diesel on a quarterly basis. <br /> Prior to sampling, water table elevation will be recorded <br /> as well as the presence of any free product. <br /> 4 Prepare quarterly technical reports summarizing the field <br /> activity water sampling and analyses with discussion and <br /> recommendations. <br /> The purging of ground water and sampling should continue for six <br /> months.
