The purpose of this work is to further
define the lateral and vertical extent of PC troleum hydrocarbon-impacted groundwater to the east
and downgradient of the STTC facilities. The proposed well locations and completion depths
were developed based on data collected during the recently completed groundwater investigation
that was conducted using the cone penetrometer (CPT) and HydoPunch groundwater sampling
system. The proposed depth of completion are based on data collected (Groundwater
Investigation Report, Port of Stockton, St ckton, California, IT Corporation,January 2001).
The proposed wells will be installed at the approximate locations shown on Figure 2.
SCOPE OF WORK
IT has prepared the following scope of work to complete the requirements associated with the
project objectives.
TASK 1- PREFIELD ACTIVITIES
IT will obtain the applicable explorato boring and well installation permits from the San
Joaquin County Public Health Departm t prior to commencing field activities. IT will review
the well installation program with the Port of Stockton Facilities group to obtain access to the
proposed locations. If access is granted, IT will contract a private utility locator and contact
Underground Services Alert. If the Port of Stockton required alternate locations for any
monitoring wells,IT will submit revised locations to the RWQCB for review and approval.
IT CORPORATION
CAMy Documents\Projects\Port of Stockton\Well Install\workplan.doc
Rev.0,4/9/01
