The trip blank is analyzed for the presence of volatile organic compounds <br /> of concern. For petroleum hydrocarbons, the trip blank is typically analyzed for TPHg, BTEX, and <br /> MTBE by EPA Method 8260. <br /> Containment and Disposal of GeneratedNater/LPH <br /> Purge water generated during the field activities is temporarily stored within a polyethylene tank <br /> kept at the Tesoro Terminal. The purge water is typically pumped through the carbon filter <br /> system, stored in a second polyethylene tank at the Tesoro Terminal site, and sampled.
