Hwy 99
Stockton, CA
i
This letter is to document our telephone conversation today regarding the above
referenced site and the April 29, 1997 letter from our agency. That letter
contains a statement that if the use of the site chariges further mitigation may be
required. The intent of this statement is that if the future use of the property
requires excavating or some other work requiring disturbance or contact with the
remaining contaminated soil, our agency will be notified and can ensure the
proper disposal of any contaminated soil. As long as the contaminated soil is not
disturbed it should not require further mitigation.
Another land use issue that we did not discuss is that a drinking water well I
should not be drilled in this area. There may be other uses in the future that
require consideration that is the reason for the statement.
If you have any questions contact me at (209) 468-3449.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
t
Margaret Lagorio, Supervising REHS
Site Mitigation Unit
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
f
