Ce.92903
Robert Sullivan
2079 E. Minor Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
RE: SOIL AND GROUNDWATER SAMPLING
SHELL STOCKTON PLANT
Dear Robert:
Enclosed is a copy of an Access Agreement for the
environmental assessment work and possible groundwater
monitoring well installation on your property located adjacent
to the Shell Oil Company Stockton Terminal.
Shell is currently under a Cleanup and Abatement Order issued
by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board
(CRWQCB) . As part of this Order, Shell must assess the
groundwater at the site, and install groundwater monitoring
wells if deemed necessary. Shell typically does not provide
monetary compensation for groundwater monitoring well
installations because Shell is merely complying with
requirements set forth by the CRWQCB.
Therefore, please review the agreement and forward the
executed agreement back to Shell at your earliest convenience.
If you have any questions please contact me at (719) 520-3389.
Sincerely,
h/ n
Darren J.
