Ce.82803
Robert Sullivan
2079 E. Minor Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
RE: SOIL AND GROUNDWATER SAMPLING - SHELL
STOCCTON PLANT
Dear Robert:
Shell Oil Company has been working with the California
Regional Water Quality Control Board (CRWQCB) to assess the
groundwater at the Shell Stockton Zistributioil Plant. As part
of this program, Shell has proposed a soil and groundwater
sampling plan. This sampling will provide Shell with an
assessment of the horizontal extent of potentially impacted
groundwater at the site. Included in the plan is the
assessment of a portion of your property which is east of the
Shell Stockton Distribution Plant.
Therefore, Shell is requesting a Right-of-Entry agreement to
perform the assessment work. Shell has proposed to perform
the sampling the week of July 18th.
If you have any questions please contact me at (714) 520-3389.
Sincerely,
Darren J. Denn' g, Engineer
Western Distribution Region
cc: Mike Hurd, Pacific Environmental Group
