Box 4848 <br /> Anaheim, CA 92803 <br /> DRAFT CLEANUP AND ABATEMENT ORDER, SHELL OIL COMPANY, STOCKTON <br /> BULK FUEL TERMINAL, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Enclosed is a draft Cleanup and Abatement (C&A) Order which directs Shell Oil Company to clean <br /> up and abate soil and ground water contamination caused by the unauthorized release of petroleum <br /> products at its Stockton terminal. This release has impacted waters of the state with separate phase <br /> and dissolved constituents of petroleum hydrocarbons. <br /> The draft C&A specifically directs Shell to submit technical reports and work plans to identify the <br /> lateral and vertical extent of contamination and to remediate the soil and ground water contamination <br /> at the site.
