The QMR discusses the groundwater monitoring activities conducted in
February and March and provides an update of the status of the groundwater extraction system
startup activities. The Report summarizes the installation of monitoring well MW-34.
The Boring/Well Log included in the Report does not include photoionization readings. All
future boring logs must include this information. The Well Development Data Sheet shows
elevated turbidity readings that the instrument could not measure. Equiva needs to include
turbidity measurements for MW-34 during the next quarterly monitoring event to determine
whether the meter was malfunctioning or to verify the turbidity measurements.
The next quarterly monitoring report is due by 30 July 2002.
