3.4.1 TPHD ISOCONCENTRATION MAP
As shown on Figure 4, maximum TPHd concentrations occur in wells MW-10 and
MW-16, located near Tank 14. TPHd concentrations in these wells were
31,000 micrograms per liter (gg/L) and 21,000 gg/L, respectively. The TPHd plume
appears to attenuate to 500 gg/L in monitoring network perimeter wells, with the
exceptions of wells MW-18 (2,100 pg/L) and MW-33 (800 gg/L). Deep well DW-2
contained 460 gg/L TPHd during the third quarter 2011. The laboratory noted that the
TPHd detected in DW-2 was partly due to individual peak(s) in the quantitation range.
3.4.2 TPHG ISOCONCENTRATION MAP
As shown on Figure 5, maximum TPHg concentrations occurred in wells
MW-10 (20,000 gg/L), MW-24 (16,000 gg/L), and MW-16 (10,000 gg/L). With the
exceptions of wells MW-18 and MW-33, the TPHg plume appears to attenuate to less
than 50 gg/L in all monitoring network perimeter wells. TPHg concentrations in wells
MW-18 and MW-33 were 520 and 4,300 pg/L, respectively. TPHg was not detected in
well DW-2.
3.4.3 BENZENE ISOCONCENTRATION MAP
As shown on Figure 6, the maximum benzene concentration occurs in well
MW-10 (11,000 gg/L). With the exception of well MW-33 (98 Ag/L), the benzene plume
attenuates to 1.0 gg/L in perimeter wells. Up-gradient well MW-19 also contained
6.1 gg/L benzene. Benzene was not detected in well DW-2.
3.4.4 MTBE ISOCONCENTRATION MAP
As shown on Figure 7, the maximum MTBE concentration occurs in well
MW-10 (620 gg/L). Perimeter wells contained up to 26 gg/L (in well MW-9). Historical
groundwater data from well DW-2 define the vertical extent of the MTBE plume.
3.4.5 TBA ISOCONCENTRATION MAP
As shown on Figure 8, the maximum TBA concentration occurs in well
MW-10 (14,000 gg/L). Except for wells MW-18 (56 gg/L) and MW.-25 (91 gg/L), the
241729(32) 4 CONESTOGA-ROVERS&ASSOCIATES
